Il s'agit d'un projet commencé il y a un an, consistant tout simplement à compiler l'intégralité des données de ventes disponibles sur les jeux Neo-Geo, leurs adaptations et à donner la source pour chacun. J'ai balayé la période 91-98 pour le moment. Il me manque quelques ventes sur l'année 95 et 98.

Entre temps, le site http://homepage2.nifty.com/~NOV/ , principale source pour les années 90, est down. Heureusement, un héro des temps modernes a sauvegardé l'intégralité des pages. J'utilise bien sûr le tableau de Chris1964 http://67.227.255.239/forum/showthread.php?t=1169225 , mais il comporte des erreurs. Et enfin, ce formidable topic de Neogaf grâce auquel on a pu acquérir des données sur la première moitié des années 90 http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=981407&highlight=retro+sales+age .

Le projet est en pause depuis 6 mois, mais je ne m'interdis pas de le mener à son terme et de le compléter en ajoutant les dates de sorties et les périodes précises de vent! En attendant, voici de premières données qui montrent entre autre le succès incroyable des Fatal Fury sur SFC, que Samurai Spirits 2 est de loin la meilleure vente Neo-Geo et que KOF95 est très loin du fameux million de jeux vendus.

Alors j'ai retrouver mon tableau XD qui est incopiable car j'ai fait un truc perso, a savoir que j'ai regarder dans les Famitsu N°315 à 339, globalement c'est 94/95 sachant que j'ai pas mal de trou,

Par contre COTW c'est quoi ce coup des coefficient parce que moi j'ai recopié ça comme chiffre de vente, c'est pas ça ?

bon ce que j'ai noter d’intéressant se passe avec Fatal Fury 3 qui sort dans le N°336 puis plus rien dans le N°337/338, mais le revient dans le N°339.
Ce qu'on peut dire c'est qu'entre N°336/339 le chiffre vente n'est pas de 0, mais il s'en est vendu en dessous de la ligne de compte (souvent 1000ex)

Donc ces chiffres doivent être considéré comme des Minima

Pendant très longtemps, les données Famitsu sont des points auxquels il faut appliquer un coefficient pour obtenir un chiffre de ventes. Ces coefficients sont obtenus par ceux qui les compilent, croisant les points avec d'autres chiffres de ventes de jeux officiels et appliquant ensuite le coefficient à tous les autres jeux.

La méthode de comptabilisation de Famitsu change au fil des années (prise en compte des ventes de plus de magasins par exemple) et les coefficients aussi.

Pourquoi ont-ils jugé pertinents d'utiliser des points plutôt que des chiffres de ventes? Aucune idée.

Si tu as des Famitsu de 94, ceux qui font vivre le topic retro sales de Neogaf seraient ravis d'avoir de nouvelles données à traduire.

Pour kof 95 , c'est la version mvs qui a atteint le million. La meilleure vente mvs d'après mes souvenirs.
Sinon agréable de voir que snk vendait autant de jeu sur console de salon ce qui est d'autant plus dure quand on voit les chiffres de leurs jeux aujourd'hui.

C'est impossible qu'un MVS ait été édité à un million d'exemplaires et il n'existe aucune source de ventes de MVS. Il y a juste des on dit qui traversent les années et qui veulent imposer ce million coûte que coûte. Au final, il faudrait cumuler les jeux produits tous supports confondus sur 3 ans pour tutoyer ce million; ce qui n'a aucun sens.

de mémoire l'info vient d'un documentaire de GameOne avec une interview d'un mec de SNK Playmore, qui balance ce chiffre mais sans support, date ref.
Je pense que c'est possible tout support confondu, et c'est peut etre le sens de sa phrase, (il parlait du jeu Kof 95)
